I was taught that it’s better to be ten minutes early than one minute late.” Anyone else think the same?
Punctuality isn’t just a habit for me—it’s how I’m wired. I don’t think I’ve ever been late to anything when it’s up to me. Whether it was school, work, or an early morning flight, I’ve never needed an alarm to wake up. It’s like my brain just knows when it’s time. No snooze buttons, no backup wake-up calls, just an internal setting that somehow always works.
But timing gets trickier when others are involved. Dates, group outings, and unexpected delays—those moments have tested my patience, but I still do everything I can to be on time. Now, with a full schedule and so many irons in the fire, I finally rely on Siri to remind me of appointments and commitments. It’s an adjustment, but I’d rather set an extra reminder than risk being late.
So, what about you? Are you the kind of person who always shows up early, or are you fashionably late more often than not?
