What I Hope You Remember, by Keith Thorn

Some books are written for an audience.
This one was written for the people I love—especially those I may never get the chance to fully explain myself to.

What I Hope You Remember is not a guidebook. It’s a gift.
A collection of reflections, letters, and life lessons pulled from the quiet moments between chaos. These are the words I hope live longer than I do. The kind of words I wish I had heard more of growing up—and the kind I now long to pass down.

A Book of Letters. A Book of Legacy.

Every chapter is its own letter, its own moment. Some are written to my children. Some to former versions of myself. Some to the reader, who may need a voice of permission, comfort, or clarity.

I didn’t write this to impress. I wrote it to connect.

To say what we all need to hear:

  • That you are not defined by your worst day
  • That grace is real—even when it’s late
  • That love, when chosen again and again, outlives regret

Topics You’ll Find Inside

  • The weight and wonder of being a parent
  • Forgiveness—when it’s not asked for, and when it’s not given
  • Learning to speak truth without venom
  • Healing old wounds, even if others won’t join you
  • The sacred work of becoming someone worth remembering

It’s written simply. Humbly. From someone who’s been broken, restored, and still learning.

🙏 Who This Book Is For

  • For the parent who never had the words, but wants their child to know they tried
  • For the son or daughter who never got to hear, “You matter”
  • For anyone carrying more guilt than grace
  • For readers who need to write their own letter, and need a model to begin
  • For people who want to leave something behind that says what needs to be said

The Message

You don’t need to be famous to leave a legacy.
You just need to be real.
And love well.
And write it down.

What I Hope You Remember is a reminder to live on purpose—and leave nothing important unsaid.
