“More isn’t always better.
A more meaningful life is.”

– Keith Thorn

My Journey

I didn’t begin writing because I had it all figured out. I began writing because I realized I didn’t. More than 30 books later, I’m still writing for much the same reason to understand this life while I’m living it, and perhaps leave something useful behind for someone traveling a similar road.

My life has been shaped by faith, family, loss, education, business, travel, and more than 30 years of Ki-Aikido. Each of these experiences has taught me something about what it means to be human – our struggles, our second chances, and the quiet moments that matter most.

Today, I write, teach, design websites, and enjoy life with my wife, Melody, and our dog, Cardi. We divide our time between Collinsville, Illinois, and Port Isabel, Texas, where the slower pace reminds us to be grateful for the days we are given.

I am simply a man who keeps learning, keeps loving, and keeps showing up and I’m honored to share the journey with you.
